Saturday September 25
8:00am-12:00pm – Sink or Swim & Circuit Wave Workout
Sink or Swim- Jump in and experience a multi-level workout targeting the core. Suspended sequences are alternated with grounded movements to develop strength and endurance. This is a low impact interval challenge for all body types.
Circuit Wave Workout- This linear, easy-to-follow format includes 6 WAVES of exercises targeting essential components of fitness, including strength, cardio and balance. This program provides a challenge, but allows your students to work at their own pace. CECs: AEA 4.0, ATRI 4.0
1:00pm-3:00pm – Aqua Interval Buffet
Experience a variety of interval training protocols adapted for the water. We will explore various ratios of HIIT, counting sets, partner work, measurable cadence training and more! Learn how to effectively time and execute these formats in your classes for increased challenge and progression. CECs: AEA 2.0, ATRI 2.0
Sunday September 26
8:00am-11:00am – Aquatic Kick Boxing
Explore innovative, safe and effective aquatic Kick Boxing! Great for group fitness instructors and personal trainers, this program discusses movement modifications and adaptations for the pool. Stand-alone training and combination programming help achieve different goals and engage multiple populations. CECs: AEA 3.0, ACE 0.3, AFAA 3.0, ATRI 2.0, NASM 0.3
12:00pm-3:00pm – Rated M for Mature
Baby Boomers and beyond want a training program that meets their needs and interests, while accommodating special concerns, such as fear of falling. Develop purposeful movement to achieve balance, coordination, mental awareness, posture, and range of motion. CECs: AEA 3.0, ACE 0.3, AFAA 3.0, ATRI 3.0, NASM 0.3
